Behaviour Lead

Position

Behaviour Lead – Southwark – SEMH School – £130‑£170 a day (depending on experience). Full time, Immediate Start.

• Lead behaviour strategies, interventions and de-escalation support across the school setting.
• Implement behaviour support plans, oversee behaviour management and support pupils during periods of dysregulation.
• Coordinate with senior leaders, teachers and pastoral staff to maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.
• Work with families and external agencies to ensure consistent support inside and outside of school.

• Previous experience as a Behaviour Lead, Behaviour Manager or Pastoral role within a school.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs.
• Confidence implementing behaviour systems and leading interventions across a school setting.
• Full‑time availability as soon as possible.

Located in the London Borough of Southwark, within walking distance of a nearby Underground station. The specialist SEMH provision supports pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, many of whom have experienced significant barriers to learning. The school offers personalised learning, strong pastoral care, and a highly structured environment focused on behaviour, wellbeing and positive outcomes. It was judged “Good” at its most recent Ofsted inspection in 2023.
