Afterschool Club Playworker

Role Summary

Head teacher and senior leadership team at Red Hill Primary School seek an after school club play worker. The role is term‑time only: 2 days per week for 38 weeks a year, with each day lasting two and a half hours starting at 2:45 pm. The contract runs until 31 August 2027.

• Work under the guidance of the After School Club Leader, Extended School Leader, and Head Teacher to provide child care for pupils in the After School Club.
• Support the manager and Head Teacher in offering a wide range of play activities, ensuring a relaxed, caring, and informed environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, encouraging cooperation and mutual support.
• Serve as an exemplary role model for staff and pupils.
