The London Ambulance Service (LAS), in conjunction with the University of Cumbria, are seeking applications for a 2-year fixed term post. The successful post holder will work with the LAS academic team to deliver the University's BSc (Hons) in Paramedic Science to LAS members of staff who are undertaking the new Paramedic Science Degree Apprenticeship.
The post will be based in London; however, the post holder may need to travel to neighbouring Trusts to support delivery of the programme.
The post holder should be an appropriately registered healthcare professional with experience of working within the pre-hospital environment as well as experience in delivering ambulance-based pre-hospital education or Higher Education Institution-based healthcare education.
Post holders will be supported to complete the first module of the postgraduate certificate in learning and teaching in higher education if this has not been achieved already.
