Speech and Language Teaching Assistant Haringey Early Years & KS1 ASAP or September Start

Location: Haringey, North London Pay: £110 - £125 per day Start Date: ASAP or September 2026 Contract: Long-Term to Permanent

Long Term Futures are recruiting a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Haringey. This Speech and Language TA role will involve supporting children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 with speech, language and communication needs.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, the SEND team and external professionals to deliver interventions, support communication development and help pupils access learning successfully.

• Speech and Language Teaching Assistant
• Supporting pupils in EYFS and KS1
• Delivering speech and language interventions
• 1:1 and small group SEND support

• Experience working with children or young people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for SEND, Speech and Language, Psychology or Education
• Positive, patient and proactive approach
