A lovely infant school in Dulwich is looking for an experienced KS1 Teacher to join their school in September 2026 on a part-time basis to job share with the existing teacher.
The RoleIn this role you will be teaching a Year 2 class of 30 pupils, 3 days a week as part of a job share, delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire pupils and support them in reaching their full potential. Pupils demonstrate excellent behaviour and a genuine enthusiasm for learning, creating a positive and inspiring classroom environment, allowing you to focus on high-quality teaching and learning.
Keyresponsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes for all learners
- Creating a stimulating, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across Key Stage 1 to share ideas and best practice
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers to support pupil development
- Contributing to the wider life of the school, including events, trips and enrichment activities
As a three-form-entry school, you will work closely with the other Year 2 team in planning, assessments and enrichment activities. You will have regular contact with parents and should have excellent communication skills, a committed and professional approach to teaching with a creative and inspiring approach.
This role is offered on a part-time basis from September 2026 to July 2027 initially. The school is looking for a qualified teacher with prior teaching experience in KS1.
