A university-focused sixth form in Haringey is seeking a knowledgeable and inspiring Economics Teacher to join their accomplished faculty from September 2026. This is a permanent Economics Teacher role within a sixth form rated Outstanding by Ofsted, known for exceptional A-Level outcomes and impressive university progression rates.

This Haringey sixth form serves a cohort of motivated, intellectually curious students, many of whom progress to Economics, Finance and Politics degrees at Russell Group and Oxbridge universities. Economics is taught with genuine academic rigour – students engage with macroeconomic theory, market analysis and real‑world policy with the independence that university study demands. Every Economics Teacher here is expected to bring deep subject expertise, stretch students beyond the specification, and invest meaningfully in their academic development.

• Hold British QTS through a UK‑accredited teacher training programme
• Graduate with a 2:1 or above in Economics from a reputable UK university – Russell Group or Oxbridge strongly preferred
• Have meaningful A-Level Economics teaching experience within a UK school or sixth form
• Can demonstrate strong student outcomes at A‑Level and genuine passion for the subject
• Are legally entitled to work in the UK – visa sponsorship is not available
