Are you a recent graduate considering a career in teaching and looking to gain invaluable classroom experience before embarking on teacher training?

A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Upminster is seeking to appoint a dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to develop their skills within a supportive school environment while making a genuine difference to students' educational journeys.

The school is particularly interested in graduates with a strong academic background in English, Maths, or Science. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support students aged 11-16 both inside and outside the classroom, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

The successful Graduate Teaching Assistant will work closely with students who have additional learning needs, including ADHD, Dyslexia, and Autism. This role would suit a compassionate and proactive Graduate Teaching Assistant who is committed to inclusion and enjoys supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning.
