Job Title: Skills Assessor - CIPD & CMI
Location: Hybrid
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Contract: Full-time
About the JobSupport learners undertaking CIPD and CMI qualifications by assessing submissions, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring an exceptional learner experience while maintaining assessment standards.
Key Responsibilities- Marking and assessing assignments and assessments across CIPD and CMI programmes
- Providing high-quality, constructive and developmental feedback to support learner progression
- Offering academic guidance and learner support throughout the qualification journey
- Monitoring learner engagement and identifying learners requiring additional intervention
- Maintaining accurate assessment records and learner documentation
Working collaboratively with internal teams to support achievement and retention targets - Participating in standardisation activities and quality assurance processes
- Ensuring assessment turnaround times and performance targets are consistently achieved
- Maintaining current knowledge of qualification frameworks, assessment criteria and industry best practice
- Promoting a positive and supportive learner experience at every stage of the programme
- Supporting compliance, safeguarding and data protection requirements
- A Level 5 qualification in HR, Learning & Development, Business or a related discipline
- An assessor qualification
- Experience assessing CIPD qualifications
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to deliver clear, constructive and engaging feedback
- Occupational experience within HR, Learning & Development, Management or wider business functions
- Experience supporting learners within an education, training or apprenticeship environment
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- A learner-focused approach with a genuine passion for helping others achieve their goals
- Experience assessing CMI qualifications
- A Level 7 qualification in HR, Learning & Development, Business or a related field
- Hybrid working with only six office days per year
