About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated member of staff to support a very popular and dynamic team delivering incredible opportunities for our young scholars.
ResponsibilitiesYou will work closely with the Director of Music to support not only curriculum delivery but also the vast array of opportunities afforded to our scholars in this field, including the Choir, Orchestra, Musical Theatre and various bands that perform via our extra‑curricular offer, as well as visits and performances in London, Nottingham and Loughborough.
Qualifications- Qualified Teacher Status
- A good honours degree in a relevant subject
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- Excellent practitioner with demonstrable experience of raising standards and leading developments in Music
- Experience of successful delivery of the GCSE Music programmes to a high standard
- Experience of working in high‑performing contexts
- Commitment to research‑informed pedagogy
- Relentlessly high expectations of staff and scholars
- Excellent subject knowledge
- Familiarity and comfort with recent developments in Music education
- Ability to draw meaningful and actionable interpretations from data
- Ability to motivate, inspire and develop others
- Ability to develop the teaching practice of other colleagues

- M1‑UPS3 Inner London £40,317‑£62,496 FTE, 0.4 FTE £16,126‑£24,998 pro rata per annum
