Social Sciences Teacher (Humanities, Psychology, Sociology & More)
Outstanding Secondary School in the Borough of Wandsworth is looking for a Social Sciences Teacher to start September 2026. This is a permanent, full‑time position.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Social Sciences subjects to KS3‑5 students, including Humanities (History or Geography), RE, Citizenship, PSHE, Sociology, and Psychology.
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and assessments aligned with statutory curriculum.
- Contribute to TLR opportunities such as KS4 or KS5 coordination or pastoral roles.
- Inspire and motivate the younger generation to reach their potential.
- UK QTS or in the process of gaining QTS.
- Strong academic background (degree, A Levels, GCSEs).
- Demonstrated ability to meet the 8 Teaching Standards at 'Good' or 'Outstanding' levels.
- Willingness to listen to feedback and participate in professional development.
- ECTs encouraged to apply.
- Outstanding Ofsted rating.
- Strong Progress 8 results.
- Modern and creative facilities.
- Excellent behaviour management.
- Support from graduate teaching assistants.
- Convenient location with good transport links; staff car park available.
