Trainee Art Teacher | North West London | September 2026

A Trainee Art Teacher opportunity in North West London offers a strong route into teaching for a graduate who is serious about developing classroom experience before gaining QTS. The Trainee Art Teacher role will involve supporting pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4 while gradually building teaching responsibility throughout the year.

Candidate Requirements

  • 2:1 minimum degree in Art, Fine Art, Graphic Design or a related subject
  • Strong A Level results in Art or a creative subject
  • Genuine interest in training as a teacher
  • Resilient, professional and able to manage challenging behaviour positively
  • Strong communication skills and a calm approach in the classroom
  • Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential
