Overview

English Teacher – Maternity Cover (September Start) 4 Days per Week (Monday–Thursday) Secondary Setting – Years 7–11. Axcis Education are currently recruiting for a specialist English Teacher to join a secondary setting from September on a part-time basis, working 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday). This is a maternity cover position expected to run until March/April, teaching English across Years 7–11.

• Teaching English to students in Years 7–11
• Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons
• Monitoring progress and supporting attainment
• Working collaboratively with the wider teaching team

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent English specialism essential
• Experience teaching secondary English across KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Pay rate will be dependent on skills and experience
• Referral bonus of £50 in shopping vouchers for successful referral of a friend who is placed in a job
