We are seeking an enthusiastic, child‑centred Year 3 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Wandsworth. The successful candidate will deliver the national curriculum with high expectations, foster a love of learning, and support every pupil’s academic, social and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons across English, Mathematics, Science and foundation subjects.
- Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, including SEND and EAL pupils.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and mutual respect.
- Record and report pupil progress in line with school policies and statutory requirements.
- Contribute to whole‑school initiatives, staff meetings and professional development activities.
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers, communicating effectively about pupil achievement and wellbeing.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a recognised teaching qualification.
- Minimum 2 years experience teaching in a primary setting, preferably Year 3.
- Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum and current pedagogical best practice.
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
