About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Year 6 Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Ealing from September 2026. This permanent position is ideal for a teacher who enjoys the challenge and reward of upper KS2 and is passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential before transitioning to secondary school.
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will lead a motivated class through their final year of primary education, delivering engaging lessons, supporting SATs preparation, and creating a classroom culture built on confidence, resilience and high achievement.
Requirements- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 6
- Strong understanding of SATs preparation and assessment
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Commitment to raising attainment and supporting every learner
- Planning and delivering engaging Year 6 lessons
- Preparing pupils for SATs and secondary transition
- Tracking progress and implementing targeted support
- Creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and school leaders
- Be an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher
- Have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- Build strong relationships with pupils, families and staff
- Be organised, proactive and committed to continuous improvement
- Share a passion for inclusive education
- A supportive and experienced leadership team
