Hove Learning Federation is comprised of West Hove Infant School and Hove Junior School, serving over 1,000 children on our three sites – School Road, Portland Road and Holland Road. We are a vibrant, creative and inclusive school community, with outstanding Ofsted in all areas.
We are seeking an empathetic, highly motivated, resilient and team‑orientated Learning Support Assistant to work with us for two days per week from 8.45 am until 3.15 pm, Thursday and Friday. This role will be based at our School Road site, working in EYFS (Year R).
Part‑time: 10.5 hours per week, term‑time only.
Paid weeks per year: 47.36 (inclusive of holiday entitlement).
Start date: 3 September 2026.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and the SENCO to help children engage positively with their learning and access the curriculum that respects their unique needs.
Experience of working with children with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia is desirable; experience of running phonics, reading and speech and language interventions would also be advantageous.
You must be willing to undertake training to support the medical needs of children in school.
This is a federation post and successful candidates may be asked to work at any one of our three sites.
