Location: Greater London

Behaviour Mentor – Greenwich – SEMH School – £100–£120 a day (depending on experience) – Full Time – Immediate Start

Behaviour Mentor – Previous experience supporting pupils with SEMH or challenging behaviour required

The Role

Seeking a resilient and proactive Behaviour Mentor to support pupils aged 11–16 within a specialist SEMH setting. You will work closely with teaching and pastoral staff to provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils manage behaviour, regulate emotions and engage positively with learning. The role involves implementing behaviour support plans, using de-escalation techniques, supporting emotional wellbeing and acting as a positive role model for pupils throughout the school day.

The School

This specialist SEMH provision is located in East Greenwich within the Royal Borough of Greenwich and is within walking distance of a nearby National Rail station. The school supports pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, many of whom have experienced significant barriers to learning and disrupted education. The provision offers personalised learning, strong pastoral support and a structured environment focused on behaviour, wellbeing and positive outcomes.

The school was judged ‘Good’ at its most recent Ofsted inspection in 2023.
