Music Teacher – Secondary School Wandsworth

We are recruiting a Music Teacher for a leading secondary school in Wandsworth (South West London) with a start date of September 2026. The position is full‑time and permanent.

• Work across the secondary school KS3‑KS5, delivering high quality music lessons.
• Collaborate with the Head of Music and act as Deputy Head of Department.
• Prepare and plan curriculum aligned with the national curriculum and school priorities.
• Assess pupils’ progress and contribute to their assessment and reporting.
• Participate in school meetings, training and professional development sessions.
• Contribute to the development of the music department’s resources and programme.

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching in inner‑city schools.
• Meet the teaching standards at an Outstanding or Good level.
• Demonstrate confidence in teaching and leadership.
• Able to lead from the front and support the music department.

• ‘Good’ Ofsted rated secondary school.
• Leading training school with ample CPD opportunities.
• Located in the Borough of Wandsworth, with good tube links and on‑site parking.
