Your Responsibilities

As a STEM Graduate Academic Mentor, you will:

  • Deliver one-to-one and small-group academic mentoring
  • Support students across Maths, Science, and wider STEM subjects
  • Help raise attainment through targeted intervention programmes
  • Work with high-achieving students preparing for examinations
  • Support university, apprenticeship, and STEM career aspirations
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
  • Act as a positive academic role model throughout the school

Who We're Looking For

The ideal STEM Graduate Academic Mentor will possess:

  • A 2:1 degree or above in a STEM-related subject
  • Strong academic credentials throughout education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for learning and academic achievement
  • The ability to motivate and inspire young people
  • Ambitions within education, industry, research, or leadership

Previous school experience is not required.
