• Primary Maths Leader will teach a Year 6 class while taking responsibility for developing Mathematics across the school
• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and effective Maths lessons
• Support pupils preparing for KS2 SATs through high-quality teaching and intervention strategies
• Primary Maths Leader will analyse assessment data and identify opportunities to improve pupil outcomes
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues to strengthen Maths teaching approaches
• Promote confidence, reasoning and problem-solving skills across the curriculum
• Primary Maths Leader applicants must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching in a primary setting is essential
• Strong Year 6 teaching experience is highly desirable
• Previous Maths leadership or subject leadership experience is advantageous
• Primary Maths Leader candidates should demonstrate excellent organisation, communication and leadership skills
• A passion for improving outcomes in Mathematics is essential
