This is far more than a traditional support role. As a Graduate Maths Trainee Teacher, you will be immersed in school life from the outset, working alongside experienced Mathematics teachers while receiving the training, mentoring, and professional development needed to become a future educator.

As a Graduate Maths Trainee Teacher, you will:

• Support teaching and learning within Mathematics lessons
• Deliver small-group intervention sessions
• Work with students across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Develop classroom management and teaching skills
• Assist in raising attainment within the Mathematics department
• Observe outstanding practitioners and learn from experienced educators
• Gradually take on increased classroom responsibility

This programme is specifically designed to prepare graduates for a successful transition into teaching.

We are keen to hear from graduates who have:

• A 2:1 degree or above in Mathematics or a closely related subject
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for education and social mobility
• The ambition to become a qualified Maths Teacher
• Confidence, resilience, and a willingness to learn

Previous school experience is welcomed but not essential.
