This is far more than a traditional support role. As a Graduate Maths Trainee Teacher, you will be immersed in school life from the outset, working alongside experienced Mathematics teachers while receiving the training, mentoring, and professional development needed to become a future educator.

As a Graduate Maths Trainee Teacher, you will:
- Support teaching and learning within Mathematics lessons
- Deliver small-group intervention sessions
- Work with students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Develop classroom management and teaching skills
- Assist in raising attainment within the Mathematics department
- Observe outstanding practitioners and learn from experienced educators
- Gradually take on increased classroom responsibility
This programme is specifically designed to prepare graduates for a successful transition into teaching.
Who We're Looking ForWe are keen to hear from graduates who have:
- A 2:1 degree or above in Mathematics or a closely related subject
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for education and social mobility
- The ambition to become a qualified Maths Teacher
- Confidence, resilience, and a willingness to learn
Previous school experience is welcomed but not essential.
