Overview

Position: English Teacher – Secondary School (KS3–KS4) – Lewisham – Permanent – Start September 2026

• Teach KS3–KS4 English Language and English Literature to mixed‑ability classes.
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire students and develop analytical and creative writing skills.
• Encourage a love for reading, writing, and literature, fostering confidence in communication and critical thinking.
• Monitor student progress, prepare students for examinations, and support learners of varying abilities to achieve their full potential.

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Role suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECT) or experienced teachers.
• Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
