Lead Mathematics within Year 6, supporting pupils in achieving strong outcomes while driving a love for learning and problem‑solving across the curriculum. The role combines classroom teaching with school‑wide Maths leadership.

• Develop and run Year 6 Maths lessons that are engaging, challenging, and effective.
• Analyse assessment data to identify opportunities to improve pupil outcomes.
• Support pupils preparing for Key Stage 2 SATs through high‑quality teaching and intervention strategies.
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues to strengthen Maths teaching approaches.
• Promote confidence, reasoning and problem‑solving skills across the curriculum.
• Lead, support and inspire colleagues to raise standards in Maths.
• Work alongside a supportive Senior Leadership Team.
• Take responsibility for developing Mathematics across the school.

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Proven experience teaching in a primary setting.
• Strong Year 6 teaching experience is highly desirable.
• Previous Maths or subject leadership experience is advantageous.
• Excellent organisation, communication and leadership skills.
• A passion for improving outcomes in Mathematics is essential.
