The Global Conversion & Marketing Officer provides practical support to international applicant conversion activity for the University of Portsmouth London campus through delivery of agreed communications and engagement tasks. The role is largely standalone, split between Portsmouth and London campuses, and aligns with centrally agreed priorities and procedures. It focuses on operational activities to support applicant engagement and decision‑making, including implementing conversion communications, coordinating student ambassador activity during busy periods, and supporting the delivery of conversion and pre‑departure events.
The postholder works with a high degree of day‑to‑day autonomy, exercising judgment and discretion to organise workload, determine appropriate responses to applicant enquiries and efficiently handle complex, sensitive, and/or policy‑related issues professionally and accurately.
Successful candidates may be expected to be on campus full time during the initial induction period. Hybrid working may be available following this period and can be discussed erviews are currently anticipated to be held on 09 July 2026.

Salary InformationNew appointments will routinely be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade, from where the individual will (in addition to receiving annual cost‑of‑living‑related increases) progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade, within a reasonable timeframe. A higher starting salary or market supplement may be available for a truly exceptional candidate when circumstances fully justify a departure from our normal policy.
