Lecturer – Foundation Learning (Maternity Cover)

West London College is seeking an experienced and committed Lecturer in Foundation Learning to join our team on a maternity cover basis
, starting mid‑May 2026
.

This role is ideal for a practitioner with extensive experience delivering Foundation Learning programmes
, who is passionate about supporting learners with diverse needs to achieve positive outcomes.

• Contract type: Maternity cover
• Working pattern: Current timetable spread across three days per week
• Location: West London College

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons, tracking learner progress, and contributing to a supportive learning environment. The successful candidate will work closely with curriculum and support teams to ensure learners are able to develop essential skills for progression.

• Has substantial experience in a similar Foundation Learning role
• Demonstrates strong behaviour management and inclusive teaching practices
• Is committed to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion
• Holds, or is working towards, a recognised teaching qualification (or equivalent)
