As a Reception Teacher, you will deliver a rich, engaging curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, supporting pupils as they transition into formal education. The school places a strong emphasis on play-based learning, language development, and early independence, with a well-structured EYFS provision and access to excellent indoor and outdoor facilities.

• Plan and deliver creative, high-quality lessons aligned with EYFS outcomes
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Observe, assess, and track children’s progress effectively
• Support early development in literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
• Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early child development
• Demonstrates a nurturing, patient, and proactive teaching approach
• Is committed to raising attainment and supporting all learners
• Works well as part of a team and contributes to wider school life
