We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of young children. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while working within a supportive and professional setting. Candidates should possess relevant experience in nursery or early childhood education and demonstrate strong management and leadership skills.
Fluency in English and driving capability are desirable attributes.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver Montessori-based activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 2 to 6 years.
- Manage daily classroom routines, ensuring a safe, organised, and engaging learning environment.
- Observe and assess individual children's progress, providing feedback to parents and colleagues as appropriate.
- Foster independence, curiosity, and respect among children through positive guidance and modelling.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans that align with Montessori principles and educational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
- Uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring all children are supervised appropriately at all times.
- Contribute to the organisation of extracurricular activities and community events related to early childhood education.
- Proven management and leadership abilities within an educational or childcare setting.
- Extensive experience working with children, particularly within nursery or early childhood environments.
- Strong understanding of Montessori methodologies and principles.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to foster a nurturing atmosphere that encourages children's independence and confidence.
- Organised with the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Driving licence is preferred for facilitating school‑related activities or outings.
