A well‑established and highly regarded primary school in the Clapham area is seeking an experienced Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team from September. This is a popular, community‑focused school with a strong reputation for its Early Years provision. The successful Nursery Teacher will take full responsibility for a Nursery class, delivering a rich and engaging EYFS curriculum that supports all areas of early development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering high‑quality, play‑based learning experiences
• Supporting early communication, language and social development
• Creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
• Observing, assessing and tracking pupil progress
• Building strong relationships with parents and carers
• Working closely with Early Years support staff and the EYFS lead

The school is looking for a Nursery Teacher who:

• Holds QTS and has recent EYFS teaching experience
• Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Is confident delivering a play‑based, child‑centred curriculum
• Demonstrates excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management
• Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and families

Experience in a Nursery setting is highly desirable.
