The school has a strong commitment to outdoor learning and Forest School principles, with children spending a significant amount of time learning and developing in the outdoor environment.

Why You'll Love This School

The Nursery team is one of the school's greatest strengths. Staff work closely together, support one another and create a positive, nurturing atmosphere where both children and adults can flourish.

The school believes that young children learn best when they are active, curious and engaged with the world around them. From outdoor investigations and nature-based activities to creative play opportunities, every day offers something different.

The Role

As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support children aged 3-4 in their learning and development
  • Help create a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment
  • Encourage children's social, emotional and communication skills
  • Support outdoor learning and Forest School-inspired activities
  • Work closely with the Nursery Teacher and wider Early Years team
  • Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with young children in a Nursery or Early Years setting
  • Is passionate about child development and learning through play
  • Enjoys working outdoors in all seasons
  • Is proactive, nurturing and enthusiastic
  • Works well as part of a collaborative team
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What the School Offers
  • A welcoming and supportive Nursery team
  • A well-resourced Early Years environment
  • Strong emphasis on outdoor learning and Forest School approaches
  • Excellent leadership and staff support
  • Opportunity to develop your Early Years experience in a highly regarded primary school

If you are passionate about Early Years education and would love to work in a school where outdoor learning is celebrated and children are encouraged to explore, create and thrive, we'd love to hear from you.
