Behaviour Specialist – Change Trajectories

We are seeking passionate, reflective professionals who are committed to co‑production, early intervention and systemic change, and who are inspired by the opportunity to strengthen inclusive practice across settings.
The Role
- Managing a caseload of pupils and delivering targeted interventions to address behavioural, emotional and engagement needs
- Working closely with schools, families and multi‑agency partners to improve outcomes and promote inclusive practice
- Developing and implementing personalised support programmes for pupils at risk of exclusion
- Supporting reintegration into mainstream education from alternative provision or following periods of absence
- Providing one‑to‑one mentoring and support for vulnerable pupils
- Contributing to training and development for school staff to strengthen behaviour support strategies
- Monitoring pupil progress and evaluating the impact of interventions, maintaining accurate records and reports
- Providing flexible wrap‑around support for complex cases to ensure successful outcomes
The Person
- Had a relevant Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) and strong understanding of child development and behaviour
- Has experience working with pupils with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, including those at risk of exclusion
- Is confident working within schools and alongside a range of multi‑agency professionals
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive and trusting relationships
- Has experience planning and delivering targeted interventions that support behaviour change and engagement
- Can remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to challenging situations
- Has strong organisational skills and can manage a varied caseload
- Is committed to safeguarding, inclusion and improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
- Is flexible, solution‑focused and able to work collaboratively as part of a wider team
