Nursery Manager (Full Time, Permanent)
Hackney, East London
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Full Time | Permanent | Immediate Start Available
The OpportunityRevive EYFS Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a newly established nursery in Hackney for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to join a growing setting at an early stage and play a key role in shaping its future. With a warm, friendly and ambitious team already in place, this is a fantastic opportunity for a strong leader who is confident working independently, building standards, and supporting a developing team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Maintain high standards of care, education and safeguarding across the setting
- Support, train and develop the nursery team through coaching and mentoring
- Plan and deliver staff training, ensuring continuous professional development
- Oversee EYFS curriculum delivery and monitor children's learning and development
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers through professional communication
- Prepare for and manage Ofsted inspections, maintaining readiness at all times
- Manage nursery administration, policies and procedures effectively
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and first aid procedures are followed at all times
- Support occupancy growth as the nursery continues to expand
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Confident understanding of Ofsted requirements and inspection processes
- Excellent safeguarding knowledge and child protection understanding
- Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills
- Proactive, self-sufficient and able to work independently
- Warm, approachable and professional manner with children, parents and staff
- Passionate about developing teams and driving standards
- £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
- 37.5 - 40 hours per week (4 or 5 days)
- All year-round setting with Christmas shutdown
- 20 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Ongoing training and professional development, including Level 5 qualification support
- Opportunity to shape and grow a new nursery setting
