Overview

Biology Teacher – September start, full time long term temporary with potential for permanent employment, in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

School

An “Outstanding” Secondary School & Sixth Form in the London Borough of Merton. It is a mixed, 11-18, non‑selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff. 90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4. The site has its own dedicated SEN Support Centre and a variety of sports facilities. Ofsted notes a positive culture of learning and strong sense of community.

Pay

The rates of pay will range from £170 to £280 a day, depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

Teach KS3 to KS4 science classes, with the possibility of KS5 lessons depending on experience and availability.

Who we are looking for

Recent qualified, experienced, British‑trained, or overseas‑trained Biology Teachers.

Requirements

Right to work in the UK
Clear and up‑to‑date DBS
UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
Experience as a Biology Teacher in UK schools
