SEN Teaching Assistant – Southwark – Long Term

A secondary school in Southwark is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across the school. This is a good fit for someone who can support pupils without needing constant direction. This role is ideal for someone who can support learning, manage pupil relationships professionally and help students access the classroom without adding pressure to teachers.
Whatthe role involves
- Supporting pupils with SEN, EHCPs, ASD or SEMH needs
- Working across lessons with teachers and support staff
- Helping pupils stay focused and regulated
- Providing consistent classroom and small group support
- School-based support experience or strong transferable experience
- A calm, mature and reliable approach
- Confidence supporting secondary-aged pupils
- Someone who can follow direction but also use initiative
£90 - £110 per day
