About the Role

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and qualified Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join our welcoming Early Years team in a vibrant 2-form entry primary school in Battersea. You will play a key role in supporting children aged 3-4 in our nursery provision, helping to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Plan and lead engaging play-based learning activities
  • Observe, assess and record children's progress
  • Work closely with the class teacher and Early Years team to meet individual needs
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers
  • Ensure safeguarding, welfare and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
Person Specification
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in an Early Years or nursery setting
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Warm, patient and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Enthusiasm for supporting children's learning through play
