Lecturer in Environmental Conservation
Capel Manor College seeks an experienced lecturer to teach Conservation courses at Levels 1‑3 covering Wildlife and Conservation, Environmental Conservation, and Countryside Management, as well as shorter courses on Carbon Literacy and Climate Change.
Responsibilities- Teach and assess conservation subjects, including ecological concepts, freshwater and wetland management, woodland management, plant and soil science, and managing countryside visitor activities.
- Prepare and deliver stimulating lessons, set challenging learning goals, monitor and assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Demonstrate positive attitudes, values, and behaviours expected of students.
Applicants should possess a relevant qualification in Conservation or a related field. Teaching experience and industry experience are highly valued.
SalaryUnqualified Lecturers: £17,286 – £19,134;
Qualified Lecturers: £20,187.60 – £26,636.40, inclusive of London weighting.
