About the roleUCL Interaction Centre (UCLIC) is an interdisciplinary research centre within UCL Computer Science focused on human–computer interaction, digital technologies, and user‑centred research, teaching, and innovation. The role involves conducting interdisciplinary research, contributing to teaching across undergraduate and Masters programmes, supervising students, and supporting curriculum development and assessment activities. Responsibilities also include securing research funding, engaging with academic and professional communities, providing student support, and contributing to departmental administration and outreach activities.
Aboutyou
The role requires a strong interdisciplinary background in human–computer interaction, computer science, or a related field, typically supported by a postgraduate qualification or equivalent research experience. The successful candidate should demonstrate experience in teaching and supporting students at undergraduate and postgraduate level, conducting high‑quality research and producing publications, and engaging with academic or professional communities. Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside the ability to contribute to curriculum development, supervise students, work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment, and manage competing priorities effectively.
