Behavior Support Mentor | Lewisham | September
Are you passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning? This Behaviour Support Mentor role offers the chance to support pupils with behavioural, emotional and social needs within a structured secondary school environment.
The school focuses on creating a positive learning environment where pupils are supported through strong relationships, clear routines and personalised interventions.
Lewisham | Full Academic Year Contract | £500–£550 per week
What the school can offer a Behaviour Support Mentor- Experience supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
- Training around behaviour strategies and pupil support
- Opportunity to deliver mentoring sessions
- Support from experienced pastoral professionals
- Development of communication and relationship‑building skills
- Strong preparation for careers in education or psychology
- Hold A-Levels (or equivalent qualifications) and a BA degree
- Be calm, patient and consistent
- Build positive relationships with pupils
- Support students in developing confidence and resilience
- Have strong communication skills
- Be committed to inclusion
