Overview
SEND Teaching Assistant | SEND College London – Full Time or Part Time
A specialist SEND college in London is seeking a caring and experienced Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) complex needs and challenging behaviour.
Position Details- Hours:
Full time or part time, Monday to Thursday - Salary:
Competitive salary based on experience
- Experience supporting students with ASD complex needs and challenging behaviour
- Ability to provide personal care
- Epilepsy training or willingness to undertake training
- Valid DBS check
- Right to work in the UK
- Supporting students in both classroom and one-to-one settings
- Assisting with personal care and behaviour management strategies
- Supporting students with medical needs including epilepsy management
- Collaborating with teaching staff, therapists, and families to promote learning, independence, and positive engagement
