Overview
School-Based Psychologist
Location:
North & East London
Salary: £100 - £120 per day
Start Date:
Immediate / September 2026
- Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Assisting children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language difficulties and SEMH needs
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Delivering targeted interventions and wellbeing support
- Working alongside teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
- Monitoring pupil progress and contributing to support strategies
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
- Psychology degree or a related qualification
- Experience working with children or young people
- SEN experience is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, empathetic and resilient approach
- Passionate about supporting children s development and wellbeing
This role is particularly suited to aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Child Psychologists, Therapists, Teachers and Mental Health Practitioners seeking valuable school-based experience.
