£32,049 per annum (Scale 4, Point 7 £ 28,880 + £3,169 Coordinator Allowance).

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Are you passionate about helping young people navigate some of the most important transitions of their lives? The Excelsior Academy is looking for a motivated and compassionate professional to join our inclusive, high-achieving community in a unique combined role.

Working across two complementary functions, you will lead on transition planning for students with SEND coordinating IEPs, supporting post‑16 pathways, and building relationships with families and external agencies while also providing hands‑on learning support in the classroom under the direction of our experienced teaching staff.

Experience working with young people with complex barriers to learning, a strong knowledge of SEND and transition frameworks, and the confidence to engage with students, staff, families, and external partners. A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education is essential.
