Pre-School Room Leader
Location:
City of London - currently based in Barbican, relocating to a brand-new Shoreditch site
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Are you an experienced Early Years professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are working with a well-established, high-quality private nursery group in Central London that is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Pre-School Room Leader.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking setting that is about to relocate to a state-of-the-art nursery in Shoreditch, offering a fantastic working environment and opportunities for career progression.
Responsibilities- Lead, motivate and support a team of practitioners within the pre-school room
- Plan and deliver a creative, play-based curriculum in line with the EYFS framework
- Monitor children's learning and development, ensuring accurate observations and assessments
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback and updates
- Ensure the room meets all safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted requirements
- Contribute to the overall ethos and continuous improvement of the nursery
- Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)
- Proven experience working within a nursery setting, ideally in a senior or room leader capacity
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and delivering high-quality care
- Competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per year (depending on experience)
