This Secondary Learning Support Assistant opportunity is based within a high-achieving Bromley secondary school and offers the chance to support pupils both academically and pastorally.

This Secondary Learning Support Assistant role would suit a proactive and confident graduate looking to work closely with pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful Secondary Learning Support Assistant will support classroom learning, deliver targeted interventions and help pupils overcome barriers to achievement.

£500–£550 per week

• Experience with in a highly successful secondary school environment
• Opportunities to support pupils across a broad and ambitious curriculum
• Exposure to SEND, pastoral and intervention support
• Strong mentoring and professional development opportunities
• Excellent preparation for teacher training applications
• A calm and purposeful learning environment
• Supportive leadership and experienced teaching staff
• Valuable experience working with academically ambitious pupils

• Hold strong A-Levels (or equivalent qualifications) and a BA degree
• Be confident working with secondary-aged pupils
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Be enthusiastic about supporting young people to achieve their potential
