The Role - Graduate Teaching Assistant (Richmond)
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students across the school to access learning, build confidence, and achieve strong academic outcomes.
Working closely with experienced teachers, you will support learning in the classroom, deliver targeted interventions, and provide tailored academic support to individuals and small groups. Where possible, you will also be deployed within your degree specialism to add further value to subject delivery.

Key Responsibilities
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support students on a 1:1, small group, and whole-class basis
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
Deliver targeted intervention sessions to raise attainment
Monitor and feedback on student progress and engagement
Adapt learning materials to support different abilities and needs
Promote positive behaviour and a focused learning environment
Help build student confidence, resilience, and independence

Hold a degree from a recognised university
Have strong academic ability and subject knowledge
