North London, September 2026, £35,000 to £45,000 pro rata (0.6 FTE)
A co‑educational secondary school in North London is seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher to join their science department on a permanent 0.6 FTE basis from September 2026. The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 Science, with the timetable mainly focused on Physics and some Chemistry and Biology. The role requires a knowledgeable and adaptable Science specialist who can deliver high‑quality lessons, support student progress, and contribute positively to the wider Science department.
Qualifications- Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school
- Ideally hold QTS
- Strong subject knowledge in Physics, with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4 Science
- Confidence teaching some Chemistry and Biology as part of a broad Science timetable
- Effective classroom management and high expectations for all learners
- Committed to supporting student progress within a permanent part‑time teaching role
- Hold UK Right to Work
- Salary £35,000 to £45,000 pro‑rata (0.6 FTE)
