Pastoral Tutor
Pastoral Tutor required to join a well-resourced College in the Tutorial & Enrichment teams in Hackney
.
Employment:
Monday to Friday. Salary: £110 - £140.
Responsibilities and
Qualifications:
- Work alongside teaching staff to provide pastoral support for learners to improve attendance, retention, achievement and encourage positive progression to enhance the quality of the learners journey.
- Deliver a prescribed tutorial curriculum through weekly group tutorial sessions to develop the learners' broader skills and knowledge, contributing to their social and emotional development.
- Previous experience in a similar Pastoral Tutor role is preferential but not essential.
- Be a good role model able to elicit the best from developing youths and give them the qualities they need to flourish in society post college life.
- Good communication skills are required and experience working with A level students and UCAS applications are essential.
