Seeking a dedicated and adaptable SEN English Teacher to teach pupils aged 11-19 within a specialist SEN setting. You will deliver engaging and differentiated English Language and Literature lessons tailored to meet a range of learning needs, including autism, moderate learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties and associated communication needs. The role involves adapting the curriculum to meet EHCP outcomes, developing pupils' literacy and communication skills, monitoring progress and creating a structured, supportive learning environment where every student can achieve their potential.

You will work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide the highest standard of support.

This specialist provision is located in the London Borough of Southwark and is within walking distance of a nearby London Underground station. The school supports pupils with a range of complex special educational needs and provides personalised learning, therapeutic support and a nurturing environment focused on academic achievement, communication, independence and life skills development. The school was judged 'Good' at its most recent Ofsted inspection in 2023.
