Qualified English Teacher Are you an inspiring English Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in Greenwich? We are seeking a dedicated Qualified English Teacher to join a supportive SEMH school in Greenwich, working with students aged 11 to 16. This exciting Qualified English Teacher position is based in Greenwich and offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
The successful Qualified English Teacher will deliver engaging English lessons, build positive relationships with students, and create a safe, structured learning environment where every learner can thrive. Working as a Qualified English Teacher in Greenwich, you will plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of students aged 11 to 16. You will work collaboratively with a skilled and supportive team, helping to provide outstanding education and training while encouraging students to develop confidence, resilience, and a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality English lessons for students aged 11 to 16 in an SEMH school. Plan engaging and differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs. Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to support achievement. Build positive relationships that encourage engagement and personal development. Contribute to the school's commitment to exceptional education and training. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching English to secondary-aged students. A strong understanding of supporting students with SEMH needs. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
