About the RoleAs a Science Teacher
, you will:
- Teach Science across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE content
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet a range of learning needs
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively
- Create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment
- Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with SEND, including autism and communication needs
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists and wider support staff
- Contribute to EHCP targets and pupil outcomes where appropriate
- Promote pupil confidence, independence and engagement in learning

We are seeking a Science Teacher who has:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 level
- Knowledge of GCSE Science curriculum requirements
- Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND, or a willingness to work within a specialist setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A flexible, patient and positive approach to teaching
- Full-time role with a September start
