Academic Mentor
- What the Role Involves Delivering targeted one-to-one and small-group academic intervention sessions across KS3 and KS4
Supporting pupils working below expected levels or preparing for GCSE examinations across a range of subjects
Using assessment data to identify gaps in understanding and adapt sessions accordingly
Maintaining clear records of pupil progress and feeding back regularly to class teachers
Building consistent, motivating relationships with pupils to develop their confidence and resilience as learners

- What the School is Looking For The ideal Academic Mentor will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university. Previous child-centred experience in a UK educational setting is highly valued. The school is seeking a proactive, dependable, and enthusiastic Academic Mentor with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
