English Graduate Teaching Assistant – Hillingdon – Secondary School
£115–£120 per day (depending on experience) – September 2026 start.
Outstanding secondary school in Hillingdon with excellent transport links offers a chance to train to become a qualified teacher via SCITT.
Responsibilities- Full‑time (Monday to Friday) position.
- Support pupils individually and in groups as a teaching assistant.
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers to facilitate teaching and learning.
- Maintain a positive, confident approach while encouraging students to achieve their potential.
- 2:1 or above degree in English language, English literature or related field.
- Strong subject knowledge of English.
- Enthusiastic, supportive personality to inspire students.
- Opportunity to progress to teacher training (SCITT) and become a qualified teacher.
- Supportive staff and high OFSTED rating.
- Excellent transport links to the school.
