Salary from £43,277 to £51,714 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £55,497 pa inclusive of London allowance

LSE Careers is dedicated to supporting our students and recent alumni in all aspects of their career planning and professional development. Offering an extensive programme of events and activities to help them develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed, we are committed to delivering work to a high professional standard and continually enhancing and developing the services we offer.

As such, we are seeking to recruit a trainee Careers Consultant to join our committed team. The trainee will be involved in programme development, the design and delivery of all aspects of provision and will work with students individually and in groups, enabling them to make effective career decisions and manage their careers successfully both in the UK and overseas.

As well as a strong interest in careers education, you will have excellent communication skills, substantive work experience and a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of the graduate and postgraduate labour market, in the UK and internationally.

As a trainee position, the expectation is that you will undertake a relevant professional qualification to the role. You will follow a training plan and have access to a range of support and development.
